I'm Emma, I'm 21 and I've been documenting my travels, day-to-day activities and more on here since early 2013.

Think of this online space as a little diary in which I have 'cherry-picked' the activities I choose share with you all! I grew up in the leafy county of Surrey and started at King's College London in 2012. This blog was set up as a means for my parents, family and friends to see what I was getting up to in my new life in London, albeit my choice of activities were far from a typical student lifestyle!

London is such an amazing city with so many incredible places to eat, drink and explore, a lot of which you can be done for free! So my friends and I consequently took it upon ourselves to veer away from the dingier student night clubs and instead spend our time (and money) enjoying the best of what London has to offer. As I and this blog have grown over the last couple of years I've started to expand the posts from journal entries, style posts, fitness classes all the way through to safaris in Africa. I've been very lucky to have experienced a lot of this because of my blog and I can't wait to continue now I've finished my BA at King's. I hope you'll enjoy following my journey into the big wide world of work!

What camera do you use?

For a lot of posts I use my digital camera: Olympus Pen Lite EPL6  or my IPhone 5C when I forget my camera or decide to do an impromptu post. For all my 'on Film' posts I use my Minolta X-700 which used to belong to my Grandpa and it's my favourite camera in the whole world, I love it. And I buy film online here.

How do you edit your photos?

I usually use VSCO cam if they're on my phone for Instagram  my film camera photos I've recently started to edit in Photoshop but I don't like to alter them too much because sometimes it causes them to lose their authenticity.

Can I send you things?

If you'd like to send me presents then I like presents, so send me an email on and I'm sure we can sort something out. I can't guarantee a feature of everything, consequently I only accept products from companies I'm passionate about so as to not waste your time!

Do you make money from your blog?

I do, yes!

What do you study?

I'm studying War Studies at King's College London which is more easily described as international relations, history and politics! I wrote a blog post about it if you'd like to know more.

How can I contact you?

If you'd like to work with me on a post, freelance work etc etc then you can click that little envelope symbol and you can send me an email to the address I listed above, alternatively check out the Contact section of the blog and send me a form!

What do you want to do when you're older?

What an ominous question Emma. As long as I can travel, write, and write about travel I will be happy. I would also love to venture into the non-profit / social enterprise sector with the aim of setting up one myself - watch this space!
